The pen in a bottle, located in a church, hence church pen.

In a world full of spiders, everything revolves around the church pen (kerkpen in Dutch), a pen of average size and color that is kept in a soda bottle. The strange thing about this pen is that it has an unexpectedly pleasant smell.

A group of office workers, characterized by their daily routines, become obsessed with the church pen and are determined to get it. They feel an inexplicable urge to have the pen in their possession, although the reason for this is completely uninteresting.

In the 21st century, on the 26th, this group of office workers journeys through a landscape, traversing streets and buildings by means of public transportation. They are led by Niko, who leads them to the location where the church pen is located.

After a 3-minute journey, they finally arrive at a 175.000 kg church, as massful as any they’ve seen before. In this environment they find the bottle containing the church pen.

With excellent motor skills, they take the pen out of the bottle and notice that the pleasant smell is getting stronger.
